I’m Ryan Rickevicius, a Sport Management and Business Analytics student at Quinnipiac University. I’m pursuing bachelor’s degrees in both fields, with graduation expected in May 2028.
With Quinnipiac Baseball, I build pitcher scouting reports and capture and validate TrackMan data during live games. My research looks at the relationship between changes in pitch location and swings and misses. Both kinds of work ask for careful analysis and a clear explanation of what it means for the people using it.
I also support individual workouts and game-day operations for Quinnipiac Men’s Basketball. During the summer of 2025, I volunteered as a Sabermetrics Assistant with the Westfield Starfires, where I designed data collection systems and analyzed first-pitch tendencies.
I’m interested in sports, data, and business analytics opportunities for Summer 2027. Outside of school and sports operations, I’m a marathon runner and an ultimate frisbee player.
